Repurposed on Purpose

I'm not broken

The trials of life causes use to bend and sometimes break. We oftentimes do not feel like we are going to make it or even survive the tests. I know for me, I ask God – did you really do this on purpose for a purpose? And what in the world could that be? God has a funny way of not answering me. I am sure you have felt the same way. There are many things that I have wanted in life, some tangible and others beyond the naked eye. But, in all things I am thankful.  I write this note to you believing that you have come to this resolve from the Psalmist William McDowell: “My life is not my own, to YOU I belong!” This is a beautiful yet painful reality because, in this life, we want what we want when we want it. Nevertheless, we break in our pursuit just like the pot above. Several pieces. And it is only our divine creator, Elohim, that can put us back together again for HE is the potter and we are HIS clay on HIS potter’s wheel. More so, HE fashions us into something multi-dimensional, more beautiful than before, with remnant of the brokenness and spaces, yet HE gathers piece by piece to refashion us on purpose into HIS Purpose nevertheless.
